Our Sustainability
Sustainability is a core value at negg®. While not required to report by law, the company has voluntarily published its first Sustainability Report. negg® is committed to reducing its environmental impact, operating ethically in all markets, and fostering a positive work environment for its employees.

Ethical responsibility
The company follows the SA8000:2014 standard for social and ethical responsibility, ensuring a socially responsible workplace and supporting the professional growth of its employees. negg® also encourages its suppliers, both domestic and international, to uphold the same principles of respect, dignity, and fairness.
For this sustainability report, negg® has identified the relevant ESG areas and related material topics, including actual or potentially significant economic, environmental, and social impacts that could affect the company and influence the evaluations and decisions of negg® and its stakeholder.
For a tech company like negg®, the relevant Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) topics identified are:

Our ESG Approach
- Contributing to pollution reduction and optimization of water, heat and electricity usage inside the company.
- Less stressing for employees as they are given the freedom to work from home and better manage timetables.
- Committed to reducing energy waste, our offices have mandatory closing days, highlighting our dedication to sustainability.
- Smart working can improve work-life balance, increasing employee satisfaction and productivity.

The environmental policies of negg® are based on the power of small actions repeated over time. The company has implemented waste sorting in all its offices and has imposed a limit on the use of printed paper: the use of digital media is encouraged, while printed paper is limited to cases of necessity, with a restriction on the number of pages.
The choice of lighting for the offices was also inspired by energy efficiency and optimization criteria: LED lamps were selected, and, when possible, they are activated via motion sensors to reduce energy waste.
