negg® held an attack-defence lab at Università Politecnica delle Marche: “Cyber Security Red Team - Blue Team: tecniche informatiche di attacco e di difesa”
negg® has been invited by Professor Domenico Ursino to give a lesson on attack and defence strategies at the C-class, Contamination Lab of the Università Politecnica delle Marche, in Ancona. The workshop took place this afternoon and lasted for four hours during which Paolo Russo, an engineer at negg®, and Pietro Minniti, an engineer at Omnitech simulated, by reproducing a real case scenario, the most effective attack and defence techniques. The audience was heterogenous from students to Ph.D. candidates but also experts in the field.

The initiative was so successful that now at the Università Politecnica delle Marche they started a specific co-working laboratory where students can train themselves to take part to cyber security “capture the flag (CTF)” competitions.
